We couldn’t have asked for a better harvest season to conclude our nearly-decade-long run of working with this legendary vineyard. The perfect 2016 growing season has yielded an exceptionally balanced wine that competes with 2008 as our favorite vintage of GIII.
Dark fruit dominates the nose with blackberry, boysenberry, and black cherries wafting from the bouquet. A lush, round mouthfeel draws layers of brown sugar, leather, fresh vanilla bean, and molasses in to the dark fruits.
