27th Annual Barrel Tasting and Vintners Dinner
This year’s 27th Annual California Barrel event will once again be held at the Mandarin Oriental in Washington DC which has become, universally the most popular location for the event by both wineries and attendees.
The Annual Vintner’s Dinner will be held on Friday March 9th 2012. We are very excited to announce Chef Anupam Banerjee the Head Chef for Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C, will be preparing this years dinner. Chef Banerjee joined Mandarin Oriental 9 years ago in London where he was Executive Sous Chef and has spent the past 3 years at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva where he opened Rasoi, which has been honored with a Michelin star for two successive years. Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Chef Banerjee held leadership roles at both Raffles Hotel Singapore as well as The Oberoi Hotel Group. Tickets for this gastronomic event will be $325.00 per person. The dinner sold out last year so don’t delay.
The 27th Annual California Barrel Tasting will be on Saturday, March 10th 2012. This year's tasting will feature the 2009 and 2010 vintage in two sessions; the first from 12:30PM until 3PM and the second 6:30PM until 9PM. Tickets for the tasting will be $125.00 per person per session. This year we will be featuring wines from the 2009 and 2010 vintage.
